Christmas

I'll just post a few pictures. I have let time get away from me and need to just catch up. There are birthdays and summer fun coming up and I need to get back on track.

2 mouths screaming Christmas carols + 4 little hands baking cookies = headache recipe for mommy!

Our photo card was pretty tricky this year. Trying to get everyone to look at the camera with a smile was well... impossible. Here are some misses followed by what went to print.

Baby fusses as the older two look on...

Put tongues AWAY
Cute, but blurry

Poor Marshall
Everyone is in focus and happy. I'll take it!

We had a wonderful Christmas. The kids woke Christmas morning to find Santa had come. There was plenty of excitement and fun playing with the new toys all day.

Harvey is 6 months today

I cannot believe that half a year has passed already.
I have enjoyed getting to know Harvey as well as watching his role in the family change as he grows. Harvey is such a laid back little man, with an enormous amount of patience for all the hugs and kisses and noise. Harv (as Marshall calls him) is becoming so strong and is on the verge of crawling. He is proficient in the backwards slide and will occasionally throw himself forward in an attempt to reach a toy. It usually ends with him face up, twisted and confused.
Harvey felt like part of the family before he arrived. There was no getting used to him stage or reality transition period. Around the time Harvey was born, Marshall was captivated by wolves. We were a family of wolves, mamawolf, daddywolf and Ellawolf. The day Harvey came home from the hospital Marshall pronounced him, Haaarveeewolf. It was official, there was a new member to the pack.
Then...
and now...

Halloween 2007

Ella decided, after much deliberation, to be a fairy princess and use a combo of dress up stuff. Marshall stuck to his original decision to be a "mean dinosaur". I made his costume and did an okay job for someone who would have liked to have been a mean camel/goat.
We all had a great time.
Harvey was in the sling and was so quiet I did forget he was there. Then at the very end he sounded the alarm, and at 9PM Halloween was officially over for us.
I look forward to more Halloweens and to becoming a much better seamstress!

Three in a bed

I am so excited to begin this. Harvey is 4+months now. I am feeling like I have time to spend adding some family info here.
I have been inspired by a friend's sister and look forward to adding some fun times and adventures.
